About Us

• The Humane Society of Angelina County takes in owner surrender animals on a space available basis. 
• We offer the pets for adoption to good families that meet our requirements for pet ownership. 
• All pets adopted from the Humane Society are spayed/ neutered.  We charge a small surrender fee to help cover the cost of shots and care. 
• We provide humane education to area schools and civic organizations at no cost. 
• We have the only low cost spay/ neuter program in our area offering low cost spay neuter to families with incomes of $30,000 per year or less. 
• We are a non-profit organization that depends on tax deductible donations to operate.
